Sutton Foster, an actor as well as a singer and dancer She has performed in a total of eleven Broadway shows which include the latest revival of Violet. She also originated parts in Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Young Frankenstein. Sutton Foster was an Star Search contestant at the age of 15 and appeared on Bunheads as well as Psych. Sutton Foster has appeared in Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. as a solo performer, Sutton has performed all over the US and internationally, as well as with their musical director Michael Rafter... performing songs from her debut solo CD "Wish" along with the follow-up CD "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." The singer has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. Sutton received an honorary doctorate in the year 2011 from Ball State University, where she also serves as advisor and faculty member for the Department of Theatre and Dance. From March to the present she has been a part of TVLand's debut series "Younger" produced by Darren Star.
